By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Design and use a range of questioning techniques (e.g., open/closed, probing, higher-order, cold-call) to deepen student thinking and participation.
• Craft purposeful questions aligned to learning objectives to assess understanding and drive learning forward.
• Facilitate richer classroom dialogue by scaffolding student responses, prompting elaboration, and promoting peer-to-peer discussion.
