EPV Approved - Beginners German Language Course for Primary Teachers - Summer Course

Summary: 

This course aims to

• Enable and empower teachers to teach beginner German to pupils in primary school
• Equip teachers with transferrable tools and skills to enhance their teaching and learning
• To enable teachers to encourage primary class pupils to become familiar with the basics of the language and to create a love of language learning.

Course dates: Wednesday 1st to Tuesday 7th July 

Time: 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 pm daily, 20 hrs in total.

Venue: Our Lady of Lourdes Secondary School, New Ross

Catering:  A light lunch will be provided at 11.30 a.m. each day.

Cost: €50.00. 

Summer Course Booking Policy

Our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable.

Wexford Education Support Centre reserves the right to cancel a Summer Course where there are not sufficient numbers to run the course. A full refund will be offered if this happens or you may also choose to reserve a place on an alternative course. 

Please note: Participants attending Summer Courses receive the following number of EPV days:  

• Full Attendance (20 Hours): 3 EPV Days
• 4 Days Attendance (16 Hours): 2 EPV Days 
• No EPV days will be awarded for less than 4 days attendance
• Please note: Closing Date for Registration is Friday 19th June 2026
