EPV Approved - French For Beginners

Learning Outcomes:

This course will give teachers the opportunity to learn basic French to use in their classroom and when on holidays.

This beginner French course is design to support primary school teachers with little or no prior experience of the language. It introduces essential vocabulary and simple phrases through practical, classroom-focused activities that can be easily intergrated into a primary school classroom. 

Course dates: Wednesday 1st July - Tuesday 7th July

Time: 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 pm daily, 20 hrs in total.

Venue:  Wexford Education Support Centre, Enniscorthy

Catering:  A light lunch will be provided at 11.30 a.m. each day.

Cost: €50.00. 

Summer Course Booking Policy

Our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable.

Wexford Education Support Centre reserves the right to cancel a Summer Course where there are not sufficient numbers to run the course. A full refund will be offered if this happens or you may also choose to reserve a place on an alternative course. 

Please note: Participants attending Summer Courses receive the following number of EPV days:  

• Full Attendance (20 Hours): 3 EPV Days
• 4 Days Attendance (16 Hours): 2 EPV Days 
• No EPV days will be awarded for less than 4 days attendance
• Please note: Closing Date for Registration is Friday 19th June 2026
