EPV Approved - Wellbeing in Primary Schools for Principals, Teachers and Students

Summary:

This course aims to:

• Equip teachers and principals with tools, understanding and insights to boost well-being in their own lives
• Give participants an understanding of the different aspects and holistic nature of well-being which will assist them in developing and implementing a School Self-Evaluation as outlined in the DE Wellbeing Policy Statement and Framework for Practice.
• Provide teachers and principals  with the tools to boost the well-being of the children in their classes as part of the SPHE and the PE.
• Furnish the tools to educate the children about well-being and empower them to boost well-being in their lives
• Offer practical ideas, activities and resources including, meditation, yoga, and relaxation practices to nurture teacher and child well-being within the school setting and create a positive culture of well-being in each class and the school

Summer Course Booking Policy

Our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable.

Wexford Education Support Centre reserves the right to cancel a Summer Course where there are not sufficient numbers to run the course. A full refund will be offered if this happens or you may also choose to reserve a place on an alternative course. 

Please note: Participants attending Summer Courses receive the following number of EPV days:  

• Full Attendance (20 Hours): 3 EPV Days
• 4 Days Attendance (16 Hours): 2 EPV Days 
• No EPV days will be awarded for less than 4 days attendance
• Please note: Closing Date for Registration is Friday 19th June 2026
