Cognitive distortions that may have a negative effect for students with autism

Each Community of Practice will offer a learning opportunity for all to engage in useful theory regarding our daily work as SNAs. Areas we will cover will range from cognitive distortions, emotional regulation, the importance of executive function and ways to build on it, Trauma informed environments and transitioning skills. We will also delve briefly into other areas during our meetings and I look forward to facilitating these conducive meetings.
