EPV Approved - Beginners Italian - A Classroom Based Approach

 Learning Outcomes

• To enable teachers to understand and teach basic Italian conversational skills in a primary school classroom.
• To provide teachers with practical games and activities through which they can teach basic Italian.
• To ensure teachers become more culturally aware of Italian norms and traditions and can carry this awareness to their individual schools to improve cultural awareness.
• To equip teachers with the necessary resources to teach Italian children’s games and songs.

Course dates: Wednesday 1st July to Tuesday 7th July

Time: 9.30 a.m. to 2.00 pm daily

Venue: Loreto Secondary School, Wexford

Catering: A light lunch will be provided at 11.30 a.m. each day.

Cost: €50.00. (non refundable)

Summer Course Booking Policy

Our summer courses are booked on the condition that the course fee is non-refundable.

Wexford Education Support Centre reserves the right to cancel a Summer Course where there are not sufficient numbers to run the course. A full refund will be offered if this happens or you may also choose to reserve a place on an alternative course. 

Please note: Participants attending Summer Courses receive the following number of EPV days:  

• Full Attendance (20 Hours): 3 EPV Days
• 4 Days Attendance (16 Hours): 2 EPV Days 
• No EPV days will be awarded for less than 4 days attendance
• Please note: Closing Date for Registration is Friday 19th June 2026
