STEM can often feel like an ‘add-on’ to our busy days in the classroom but this 3-part series aims to show you how STEM can enable you to implement the new Primary Mathematics Curriculum. STEM is a methodology that can be used to deliver the new PMC as it endorses playful and cognitively challenging learning experiences. This curriculum will soon slot in with the now Draft of Science, Technology and Engineering but this series will help you implement that change in simple, fun and accessible ways with your students.
- Understand the basics of the new PMC.
- Explore suggestions in the Draft of the Science, Technology and Engineering Specification.
- Learn where to source and how to carry out cognitively challenging tasks.
- Discover how to implement playful maths learning in all class levels up to 6th
- Investigate the role of technology as a methodology in Maths and STEM.
