Wellbeing is defined as being happy, healthy and comfortable.  This program is designed to help you create a classroom environment that promotes and enhances wellbeing covering:

  • The 3 core elements of every successful Wellbeing initiative: Leadership, culture and personal responsibility
  • Strategies and insights to inspire wellbeing at personal level among students
  • Strategies to foster collaborative and cooperative learning so that students feel connected to peers
  • Understanding of Barriers to Wellbeing in the Classroom 

Learner Outcomes:

  • How to establish and maintain routines and a calm classroom 
  • Actionable strategies to build belonging and connectedness to school
  • Strategies to promote emotional and social learning in the classroom
  • Understanding / exploration of students perspectives and experiences

Facilitator: Calodagh McCumiskey

The sessions will be delivered by Calodagh McCumiskey.  She is an accredited thought leader in wellbeing, life coach and meditation teacher.  Through Spiritual Earth, she delivers a range of wellbeing programmes that help people achieve focus, balance, happiness and success.
