How I Teach Reading- a Practical Approach

We will look at the elements of reading and what skills children need to develop in order to become competent, confident readers. We will look at some commonly used programmes and discuss matching the correct programme to the child depending on areas of difficulty and how to prioritise areas of literacy to focus on in order to make macimum progress with intervention.
