Promoting Wellbeing through Children’s Literature

In this course, participants can review a range of children’s literature and how best to use it to support their students’ social and emotional skills in the classroom. Participants will also be given a range of resources to use in their classrooms based on the literature mentioned in the course.

Learning Outcomes:

- Justify the importance of Wellbeing in the Primary Curriculum Framework
- Devise a lesson suitable for their class based on the resources provided in this course
- Engage in discussions with participants to suggest ideas
- Consider the value of texts in their classroom which can support social and emotional development
