LEGO® based CHRISTMAS building in the Classroom
Facilitated by Miriam O’Donoghue
This online workshop will demonstrate how Christmas themed building activities using LEGO® can support learning, discussion and reflection in the classroom. Come and build a Christmas tree, explore gratitude, friendship and more…
Even though this LEGO® based workshop is online it is fully hands-on.
Participants will need to bring to the online workshop a box of LEGO® bricks in assorted shapes and colours. DUPLO® bricks are also suitable. Paper, string/wool, sellotape and a scissors would also be great. If you are a bit of a traditionalist, then have a few bricks in your box in Christmas colours! Sure while you are at it add a bit of tinsel and a decoration or two to your box!! Base plate in any colour is also needed.
Participants will need to be prepared to have their cameras and microphones on to facilitate sharing and collaboration and will need a small space beside their computer where they can build along with the workshop facilitator and fellow participants.
