Oide Bí Cineálta - Post-Primary (PLE) / Bí Cineálta - Iar-Bunscoileanna (IFG)

Limited to 30 places.The Bí Cineálta Procedures provide direction and guidance to school management and school personnel in relation to preventing and addressing bullying behaviour in schools. As per Circular 55/2024, the requirements of the procedures will come into effect from the start of the 2025/2026 school year. This Professional Learning Event will address; A whole education approach' to bullying prevention; The definition of bullying; Addressing and preventing bullying behaviour; Requirements of schools in relation to Bí Cineálta procedures, and policy Supports and resources for schools. Two registered teachers are invited to attend per school, one to be a school leader. Sub cover is provided, where required. Participants are required to bring a copy of the Bí Cineálta Procedures to the event.
