Michelle's yoga classes are suitable for 'every body' Michelle focuses on creating an ambient, welcoming fun loving space for people to practice in, using the art of music to aid in motivation and relaxation allowing people to be fully immersed in the experience.
Michelle is currently teaching Hatha Yoga through the art of asana (postures) This includes slow, controlled, effective movement synchronising the breath with the movement. The benefits of practicing these ancient techniques include strength, flexibility, balance, alignment, muscle tone and self-awareness. Incorporating the element of meditation and pranayama through breathing techniques brings a sense of self awareness and mindfulness. This then creates a deep sense of relaxation and peace to mind, body and soul. Each class ends with a deep relaxation yoga nidra practice, allowing each individual time to replenish mentally physically and emotionally.
Another area that is of great interest is the area of nutrition and how this can be adapted to assist individuals in their overall health and wellbeing. Michelle is continuously researching and studying to increase her knowledge and understanding. Building upon her own foundation of holistic health wellbeing and awareness. Michelle is very passionate about how the human body works especially the mind body connection.
