Being able to swim is not a prerequisite to taking this course, however, we hope that on completion you will be able to swim. It is an invigorating and practical course. It will provide teachers with knowledge and expertise in aquatics and assist with the organisation and implementation of an aquatics programme in any school.
The course includes swimming instruction and participation, lifesaving skills and instruction, resuscitation theory and practice, aquatics organiser award and an aquatics pool assistant award.
Venue: Ferrybank Swimming Pool, Wexford Town.
