PDST is providing a one-day training course for principals and teachers. This one day course will explore several forms of bullying including cyber and gender related bullying. Key components will include the 2013 Procedures and the responsibilities of schools, exploring curricular approaches in the classroom and focus on implementation and investigation in schools with an emphasis on Restorative Practice. The purpose of this seminar is to: • raise awareness of bullying behaviour in schools • support schools in creating a positive school climate and culture to prevent bullying behaviour • support schools in investigating and dealing with bullying and to resolve any issues and restore, as far as is practicable, the relationships of the parties involved.
